Falconry does work in Pest Control
Today Falconry is practised by many people in some countries more than others. But Falconry can also be used for Pest Control especially between April and September when the Seagulls leave the coast to come in land to nest and breed. This migration inland by Seagulls can cause many problems not only the fact of the large nests but also the fact the gull will vigorously protect there nest and eggs and when the egg hatch there young. A gull will attack humans to protect and will also attack to get food. Never under estimate the lengths seagull will go to. They are very intelligent birds. If unchecked a colony of Gulls with grow in size very quickly. For example is a colony of gulls settles on a warehouse roof of 100 bird in April (that's 50 pair) and lets say each pair lay 3 eggs a time 3 times between April and September,so that's 50 X 3 = 150 X 3 = 450 . So come September you now have a Colony of 550 presuming all eggs hatch. The next year your first 100 will return...
